This product is very well received. Reviewers who purchased this product almost unanimously gave this hiker a perfect 5 out of 5. There. Here are some of the reviews. Apparently, it is flexible, meaning it is very adaptable to the wearer. And it looks fine as a regular day-to-day pair. A fine shoe.

5.0 out of 5 stars Keen ambler mesh hiking shoe September 17, 2012

I love this shoe! I walk my dogs at least 1 hour per day on different types of surfaces, including streets, sidewalks, hiking trails, forest, and grassland. I was able to wear these right out of the box the first time, with no hot spots or blisters. They do it all, and the foot bed feels very supportive, which I don't find in most shoes. I have had to add additional sole inserts to most of the athletic shoes I have purchased in recent years, but not these! My measured shoe size is 8.5 and the size 9 is plenty roomy with a padded athletic sock. I will definitely by Keen shoes again!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome right out of the box! September 19, 2012

I ordered these shoes after watching a video on the product from a different website. Shoe is awesome!! I previously had a pair of Merrell hiking shoes, not hard core boots, just day hiking shoes, and they were very stiff and not flexible. I have not hiked in these yet as they came in the mail today, but just walking around my house they feel great! If you look at the bottom of the shoe you can see the middle part is hard for support, while on the front palm of your foot there are two curved rubber lines which makes the shoe flexible when you walk. Seems these will give great support while also giving flexibility to step on rocks. LOVE these already!! Plus the added toe protection on all Keens. Not sure if it works or not, but I like the design of it!

Not much is against this hiker though, although it will be better to have some as none is essentially perfect.

Well.

The typical price for this product is $95.00, with price as low as $51.42 can be found in Amazon.com, and of course, only select options.
