I bought this brand because I had read the European brands ran bigger than US brands. Reviews on many US brands showed people ordering 1/2 size larger. I wear a size 11 so I do not have that luxury. The shoe, however, was just a hair too small. I knew once I got outdoors and started hiking I would really notice it so I had to return. It is a very attractive shoe and comfortable otherwise. I tend to have a narrow heel and this was a perfect fit from that aspect. I ended up buying Vasque brand at a local outfitter

I reduced the star rating because the shoe doesn't fit my foot. This is an extremely well made shoe. Unfortunately, Lowa has changed their last and this shoe isn't as wide as I need. I used to be able to wear Lowas medium width but not any longer. I'm trying to break these in by stretching the shoe box but I'm not having too much luck. I wish they made this shoe in a wide width.

This is a very comfortable and well made shoe. I recommend this shoe to anyone who likes style and comfort !!!!!!
